The following is the prelimary schedule for the University of Texas at Austin Tours, hosted by NMC members at UT Austin.
NMC will provide a shuttle service from the Hilton Hotel to the campus tours and return. When registration opens, please be sure to check whether or not you will be attending the tours so that adequate arrangements and transportation can be arranged.
Preliminary Schedule
9:30 am - Depart the Hilton Austin Downtown Hotel for the University of Texas at Austin Tour
Harry Ransom Center (HRC)
10:00 - 11:00 am - Tour the Harry Ransom Center to see the collections and hear about the research and work being done at this unique facility. It houses the world's first photograph and two Gutenberg bibles.
300 East 21st Street
Blanton Museum
11:15 am - 12:15 pm - Tour the Blanton Museum. The Blanton's permanent collection is composed of over 18,000 works of art from Europe, the United States, and Latin America. The museum also features a dynamic changing exhibition schedule that allows visitors to experience a broad range of artistic expression and history.

Texas Advanced Computing Center Visualization Laboratory (ACES)
1:45 - 2:30 pm - Tour the newly upgraded Texas Advanced Computing Center Visualization Laboratory on the main UT campus. This lab now houses the largest video screen array of any university campus and in the world. There is also a very high resolution display setup in this lab that is worth seeing too.

2:45 - 4:00 pm - Visit the DIIA New Media Lab: Project Showcase
